LeSage Nelson Wins Outstanding Practitioner Award

The Public Relations Society of America – Capital Region Chapter is proud to announce Jo Ann
LeSage Nelson, APR, Vice President of Pierce Communications as the first winner of the chapter’s Outstanding PR Practitioner award.
Jo Ann has over 20 years experience in the public relations field. Before joining Pierce Communications, Jo Ann worked as the vice president at Sawchuk Brown Associates. Jo Ann has served as the PRSA’s Northeast District Chair as well as serving as Past-President on the board for the Capital Region chapter. “I am thrilled to be recognized by my peers in the public relations profession with this award. Providing outstanding service to my clients, and doing so with integrity and fairness, has always been very important to me. To be recognized for doing what I love is a wonderful thing.”
“We are proud to celebrate Jo Ann as the first winner of our Outstanding PR Practitioner Award,” said Tom Nardacci, President of the Capital Region Chapter. “In its first year, the Empire Awards have generated a great deal of interest and enthusiasm.” The Empire Awards luncheon will take place on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at the Albany Institute of History and Art, from 11:30 to 1:30pm. The cost for PRSA members is $35 and non-members is $40.
