Zone 5 to be Platinum Sponsor of Empire Awards

ALBANY- Zone 5, the fastest growing marketing and public relations firm in the Capital Region is once again committed to being the platinum sponsor of the Empire Awards hosted by the Public Relations Society of America-Capital Region Chapter. Zone 5 was also the Platinum Sponsor for the inaugural Empire Awards in 2008.

"The Empire Awards are quickly becoming the signature public relations event in the
Capital Region and Zone 5 is proud to be associated with excellence in this field."
The PRSA Awards committee is currently looking for a new location to hold this year’s event. This year the committee is looking for a larger venue to accommodate what is expected to be an even larger number of people attending. Last year’s awards program sold out three weeks before the deadline.
"We were thrilled with the positive response we received for our inaugural Empire Awards," said Eric Wohlleber, PRSA Capital Region President. "With a brand new event, a lot of what we were doing last year was just guessing, projecting and hoping. We were pleased with the number of entries in our inaugural event and by the outpouring of support and sponsorship we received by many local firms. In retrospect we underestimated the interest and support that we would receive. We hope to continue this momentum and grow this event moving forward."
The Public Relations Society of America - Capital Region Chapter will hold it’s second annual inaugural Empire Awards on November 12, 2009. The location of the event is yet to be determined. The event honors excellence in communication in our area. The awards will include several categories, recognizing superior performance in public relations campaigns, media relations events, public affairs and integrated campaigns, among others.
